Both of my grandmothers were quilters. I remember the wooden quilting frame sitting in my grandmother’s living room. She would sit and quilt designs on quilt tops in her spare moments. They were beautiful.

I still have the quilts that were made for me by my grandmothers more than 45 years ago. I was the recipient of these lovely heirlooms, and they will be passed down for generations to come.

My desire to quilt began 14 years ago. It was love at first stitch. I made quilts for my husband, sons, mom-in-laws and more. Three years ago, I purchased a Gammill Optimum and a new love was born… long arm machine quilting.

I am a member of numerous quilt guilds. I attend MQS in Kansas City and Houston International Quilt Festival annually, as well as traveling to other states for classes and certifications taught by award winning quilters in order to learn new techniques and designs.
